This training is organized as part of the development cooperation between the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and the European Union.
Who this training is for and what you will learn

At the end of this training, you will be able to:
Describe the different business models of the local market, the regional market and the export market and assess the risks and benefits of these models for the producers and for the company
Describe the respective requirements of each of these markets (regulatory, commercial, etc.)
Describe the steps to take to reach the desired market and the technical and financial implications for the business
Make an informed decision regarding development into new markets, having clearly identified the remaining steps

Participated in the distance collective training on Strategic Business Development
The organization must already operate in the local market in a formal or informal way and wishes to extend its activities to local, regional or international formal markets
Will be shared together with the mail confirming your selection to participate
Logistical conditions
- Training costs (room and equipment rental, training materials, trainer fees);
- Meal costs for all training days;
- Accommodation costs under certain conditions and for the training period (see point 8).
- All other expenses that may be necessary (transportation, overnight stay and/or meals before and/or after training, etc.).
- Any extras (internet and telephone connections, taxi, etc...). Therefore, please provide extra money or a credit card to cover these possible expenses.
- Logistics and transportation costs for the expert-coach during the coaching phase (in the case of practical exercises carried out within your organization and benefiting from individualized coaching (=Time 2/PTS))
- During training days, all participants will be served within the training center: a morning and afternoon coffee break, as well as lunch.
- During training days, these participants will be accommodated in half-board at the training center/hotel selected by COLEAD. This includes overnight stay, breakfast and dinner.
- Accommodation will be provided from the evening before the training until the morning after the end of the training.
- Participants must comply with the services reserved by COLEAD.
- Any extras (bar, telephone, ...) must be paid directly by the participant.
- Any cost incurred by a late departure will be charged to the participant and/or their organization.
- By air, in economy class, with an exchangeable and refundable ticket only
- Via public transport (bus, train, taxi)
- By personal vehicle (if no other alternative is possible and always favoring carpooling as much as possible)
